REM’s new album „Collapse Into Now“ was released this month. It contains 12 amazing tracks.
The new masterwork was recorded in New Orleans, Nashville and Berlin. The product shows a revitalised band which succeeded in regaining creativity. Hidden Camera’s Joel Gibb, Patti Smith, Peaches and Eddie Vedder contributed guest vocals, Lenny Kay accompanies the band on a couple of songs on guitar.
The album is an impressive musical return to R.E.M.’s roots. It’s actually the band’s best studio work since “Automatic For The People” (1992).
With this great album R.E.M. fulfilled their present contract with The Warner Brothers.
