Still listening to the Cameo/Parkway Story in the truck. Chubby Checker, Bobby Rydell, The Orlons, The Dovells, The Tymes. Really excellent stuff - pre-Beatles. I'm stunned all over again by The Orlons' 'South Street'. I bought the 45 when it was new and hadn't heard it in years. Excellent record. 'You Can't Sit Down' by the Dovels is another. Top notch stuff. Even Chubby's 'Limbo Rock', 'Slow Twistin'' and 'The Twist' are pretty darn excellent. I'd completely forgotten. These days, musically, I'm a happy guy.

"Awkward Age" -- Joe Jackson This is a great song. Wonderful lyrics set off by great hooks. One of my favorite Jackson tunes.
