Still bringing over the furniture from the old place...and maybe if we lug over this armoire, mrlennie will follow.
I'm listening to Pandora right now and have just been treated to YOu're So Beautiful by Charles Wright and the 103rd St Watts Band.
I think G12 would like this track.

Cant...get...this...sofa...through...the...door. Oh, forget it. I'll sit on the floor and listen to "Holly Up On Poppy" by XTC.

I experienced a moment of epiphany today, listening to Bill Kirchen's new CD Hammer of the Honky-Tonk Gods.
Okay, I have to admit, Nick Lowe was playing bass and singing back-up on the album. But seriously, it's an excellent CD.

Like I said over in the old world... Kevin Iles/Instrumental 06
This piece displays a maturity sought by many players twice Kevin's age. It evokes Jimmy Page's acoustic pieces from the early Led Zeppelin records, but does not mimic them. It is a well rounded progression that produces a trance-like mood that invites listening repeatedly. Love on you, Kevin. Hope to sit in with you some day.

Kev will be thrilled to read this -- especially coming from such a musical talent, such as yourself. He has great respect for your work as well. Looking forward to the day you two cats can jam. PS.. I'm forwarding him this review! ;D
BTW... listening to THE MAN!

I like Kev's piece a lot too. I think it starts the cd off perfectly. It is amazing what he can do at his age. Sharon, have you heard the cd's yet?

I have listened to the instrumental CD all the Way -- I really enjoyed it too! I got half-way through the Funnies, what a bunch of loonies we are! I hate to be all puffed up about Kev -- but ya know, that Kids got talent. I never could bend the stings like he does -- but then again, he can't draw like I can either. Then their's the daughter!!
