I think it’s fiction.
As I remember one of The Rolling Stones’s finest songs „Ruby Tuesday“ was written by Keith Richards (Lyrics) and Brian Jones (Music). Mick Jagger didn’t contribute nevertheless he still enjoys performing the song a great deal.
