I'm considering going to one of those shows: maybe New York, Montclair or Boston.

Lucky you Kinkcan! I hope that you can go to one of these Ray shows! I hope Ray might do a show or two in England in December, he did a couple last year. I'd love to see him again this year!

The Kast Off Kinks are also playing on the 13th of November 2011 at the Boston Arms, London for the Official Kinks Fan Club konvention.
I'd love to be able to go to this, does anyone else from the board plan on going?

I'm not sure I'll definately go Kinkcan, it depends if I can afford it, but if I do I hope some members from here will be there. I can understand that London is a long way for you to come though

New: 1 Nov, 2011: Centerstage, Atlanta, Georgia My eyes popped out when I saw this! I don't know if anyone realizes but the Kinks and Ray rarely ever play(ed) in the South! Atlanta is 125 miles away! The only time I saw Ray was in March of 2006 in Nashville which is 250 miles away. My mom passed away 11 days later ! The only other time I considered going to see Ray was when he played Houston maybe 3 or 4 years ago because I am familiar with the area and at 690 miles away, it was one of the closest tour stops to me (Cincinatti, theoretically, for instance, is slightly closer, and a date in Virginia was closer). Finances and responsibilities are much tighter now but this is the only possible way I could see Ray! I doubt I'll be able to go; or at least Tim and I both! I haven't been in civilization in so long it seems; the concert I went to the other day was in a town of 1000 people! I'd love to go to this! Either Tim or I will go somehow!

John, it would be so cool if you and Tim could both go and see Ray in Atlanta - I know it would mean an awful lot to you both! I can understand what you're saying about money though - concert tickets aren't cheap plus you have to consider petrol costs too I hope you can somehow find a way to save enough money for you both to go! Its really sad that your one Ray show also holds the sad memory of your moms passing I can sympathise with this - as you know my dad passed away on the 19th of December whilst I was at a Ray show I wish you and Tim the best of luck with being able to see Ray again this time around!

Oh, you guys must go! Atlanta has always been a great town for the Kinks. Maybe you could meet our friend Alba -- maybe Pensacola Jeff would even show up!
