Yes, at least we can all enjoy the films. He's doing another series about a chef, but I can't remember if it is British or American. Mind like a sieve these day.

Just looked it up. The series is British, and it's called "Kitchen."

"The Riches" marathon - Friday night on FX. A chance to catch up on a great show.

We've been watching that Discovery channel special on sundays called Planet Earth. It's just amazing the footage they have, although last week was pretty brutal. They don't hold back when showing predators hunting and killing animals. Highly recommended if you are not squeemish.

I'm going to give "Raines" another look. It's a series starring Jeff Goldblum as a homicide detective who imagines that he is talking to the victims in his investigations. The last episode I saw was mostly worth watching because of Goldblum, but the story wasn't that bad, either. It's on NBC, Fridays at 8pm Central Time.

I have two new addictions, not bad for someone who professes to "never watch TV."
One is on the Travel Channel, called "No Reservations" with Anthony Bourdain, who also wrote some great books.
The other one is "House."

Ray and Damon Albarn doing Waterloo Sunset is not new but well worth seeing.

I'm really enjoying "How Not To Decorate." A lot of ridiculous ranting and raving over things like wall paper. My OH is hooked, too and he doesn't care about decorating at all.

Any HBOers out there, you really must start watching Flight of the Conchords. I am crazy about these guys. They're a "digi-folk" duo from New Zealand, ostensibly trying to break into the music business in New York. Wonderful deadpan humor, lots of non sequiturs and absurdist moments -- and their songs are hilarious.

It's on Sunday nights at 10:30. Episodes are re-aired frequently throughout the week, too. My taping skills are rusty, I'm afraid, now that we've got DVR.

I watched it Sunday for the first time. It's all on On Demand (cable TV service) so I will have to catch up. It's really quirky which I love. It has a little Napoleon Dynamite in it. Here's a sample. ;D And here it shows how original this show is. Pretty wacky.
