Thanks for posting the latest Best Coast video Tim! I've been seeing it a lot on MTVU and should have already posted.
Thanks for posting St Lucia and San Cisco! I'll have to check out the others, although I'm already digging the Lord Huron album you've been playing!
I'm glad you liked the Primitives Martin. I pretty much love every song on their 21 song Greatest Hits. Here are their other 3 smash Modern Rock hits in the US.

Thanks for posting some great videos by The Primitives, John!
And many thanks to Tim for coming up with Lord Huron - I ordered "Lonesome Dreams" and "Strange Trails". Promising band!

You're welcome Martin~! Let us know what you think of Lord Huron?
The Textones were a band fronted by Carla Olson who recorded albums with Gene Clark from the Byrds. Katny Valentine left the Textones to join the Go Gos. Phil Seymour played drums and sometimes handled lead vocal for the band after he left the Dwight Twilley Band and before he recorded a couple of hit solo records in the early 80s.
Here's a tune Seymour handled vocals on for the Textones.
Just A Matter of Time
Here's a weepy country rocker Gene Clark recorded with the band.

The future of the American indie folk band Lord Huron looks promising. Their debut album „Lonesome Dreams“ (2012) is a great album; it’s a collection of haunting and cleverly constructed appealing pop songs. The follow-up „Strange Trails“ (2015) is even more impressive showing how founding member Ben Schneider has matured as a songwriter.
If he and the band stick to their successful formula and keep on delivering the goods the world will be their oyster!

I've been into St Lucia lately. Tim posted this new video of theirs a while back.

Glad you love it Martin! I assume you are speaking of the newer St Lucia one 'Dancing On Glass'? The older one, Elevate, has a more fleshed out sound. The hook 'riff' on Dancing On Glass reminds me of the hooks on synth and dance tunes from the 80s.
Tim says The Vaccines are really good so you might check out that one; it's the only thing I know of them right now!
