Thanks Loren, great query.
What were the two final Kinks songs featuring founding member/bassist Pete Quaife?

I know that his last year of working with the Kinks was the Village Green Preservation Society. His last two songs I have no idea. I guess they should be in this album being their last work with the band, right?
Animal Farm & Phenomenal Cat?

Great guess but no.
1968 does not mark Pete Quaife's last active year with The Kinks. The two final Kinks songs with him are not included in the VGPS album.
Try again.

It's true Martin! He left in 1969 but I think he did not collaborate on the phenomenal album Arthur. By then there was John Dalton.
Plastic Man and King Kong?

Well done, Loren, correct answer! "Plastic Man" and "King Kong" were the two final Kinks songs featuring founding member/bassist Pete Quaife. He left the band in April 1969. Until then he had been working and helping to rehearse new songs that Ray had written for the upcoming album "Arthur (Or The Decline And Fall Of The British Empire)". You're up!
