I know I'm not the only one who lost friends this day.. Let us never forget their sacrifice and pray for those who who are in Iraq and across the world in conflict.

Oddly enough, I lost nobody I knew in that tragedy -- but it was traumatic indeed. Frankly, I'd prefer not to stir up the memories every year. Living here in New York, I'm reminded of it all too often. It changed this city forever, in some ways, and not for the better. I just get angry all over again, especially about the toll paid by the emergency workers and first responders.
May I remind all you good folks that Rudy Giuliani was NOT a hero to New Yorkers. Much of the human sacrifice was caused by his poor planning, and all his grandstanding in the days after the attack can't erase that. If any of you were thinking of voting for him as president, DON'T.
