It sounds like Old Hubert needs to go cold turkey (or cold kitty!) :-[
How are everyone's furry babies now? Dusty is a new puppy on her Insulin -- she's not too keen on the shots now as my Kevin is reporting she's yelping a bit and shying away when it's time to get her meds. I think He may be missing the skin and getting her in the muscle. Since the poor dear has to take it 2x a day I know she's not too happy. I know she's feeling better as she can now keep up with little brother Dylan on a good portion of walkies!
Teazer is back to her old sneaky self again but she has yet to bring us home a prize since the accident. ;D

It's lovely to hear that Dusty has vastly improved, Smiley I'm sure Kevin feels about hurting her with the injections but I'm sure it's not an easy thing to do My friend has been injecting insulin for over 20 years and even he occasionally cries out a bit when doing it!
I'm sure it won't be long until Teazer is leaving dead animals on your door-step again!! I'm glad that she's back to being herself!
Donovan is also back to his usual self - wittering constantly for food, getting into places I don't want him to go and totally ignoring me when I ask him not to do something!
I spent 4 1/2 hours today hunting for my cat Dudley, trying to get him into his carrier and take him up to the country. Turns out he was moping deep in my closet and wouldn't come out. He hasn't been his usual cheeky self for about a day now. He's still eating, so I think I'll wait until tomorrow to get him to the vet. (Still using his litter box too -- an important symptom!). He's now mad at me because I won't let him outside, and all the country birds are taunting him. But the last thing I need is to have him wedged underneath our patio deck and refusing to come out!
Well, it seems everyone's pets are doing okay now--which I'm glad to hear!
Donny does look a bit intimidating when he yawns, specially the contrast of the white of the teeth with the black fur.
I'll have to post some pictures of my dad and sister's kitties (too many, I'm afraid...but all were rescued from outside and fixed and treated with the utmost care). My mom didn't have a choice in the matter. Though she likes the kitties enough, they were really my dad and sister's babies.
My sister is definitely a crazy cat lady and my dad was a crazy cat guy!
