Dad back around 1967 or so! I'm not sure why but I've called this his James Dean pose! Attachments:

Here's a nice one of my parents; and a little 5 year old or so moi! Amazed this one was in color as Kodak black and white was our norm back here in the early 70s! It's wild for me to see my dad in a tie as I've only seen that at funerals and formal occasions. I think of this as my mum's Jackie Onassis esque look in my mind! Attachments:

Here's a shot of our 63 year old 'Christmas tree' (cedar tree) that's well over 50 feet tall! It slopes downward, so it would fall on the fenced in garden down below; so don't worry! The shot was taken from the vantage point of the equivalent of the 'free throw line' on our outdoor basketball court! I've since cut the tree limb hanging down in the top left corner of the pic as we are actually using the court again! Attachments:

They look good, and happy!
Was it a special day, your birthday?

Thanks uncle! My dad doesn't remember so I don't know what occasion that was! I doubt they'd have dressed up for my birthday though; more like jogging sweats to chase me and a few little friends around! How'd ya like that ancient cedar tree? We've got 2 more large ones in the front; had 3 more but one died after it was hit by lightning I think!

Nice pictures, John. It's fun to see your house and you and your dad (and Tiny Pence in her box seat!) I love those cedar trees. The old family snapshots are a great before-and-after contrast!

Thanks Holly! I've been taking a lot of photos in the last couple of months. I planned to post some more of all the 5 kitties but one of our outdoor kits hasn't been around in 9 days and kinda spoiled my enthusiasm.
