I know. At least they are making good progress, Dusty and Ed. I still have an outstanding debt of £5000 from my last vet bill. Thank heaven for credit cards.

good show iles and jenny... animals are the mirrors of our own souls... nothing should stand in the way of saving the little or bigger buggers... it's unconditional love going in a circle

I have something to get off my chest. It's been bothering me all week ... under pressure all week at work. I was involved with the termination of the employee that took my place while I was out on sick-leave with my broken heel/foot. As a matter of fact, I was the one that loaded the gun, thingyed the trigger and held it to his head. He had three months to perform in an auxillary role until I came back. Once I came back to work the plan model was for him to be underassisstant. He could not handle the self delegation of work while I was away... let alone when I came back. He displayed such a knack for incompetence that if it were not for the fact that his sister holds a position in the company....... see what I mean. It was a difficult fire.
I'm 42 years old and I've never fired anyone, until today. I'm actually discussing it because Wyllis carried a gun to work everyday... probably for as long as for his six month stay with us...
I'm a tough city personality... you learn... when you see a gun... you just don't say anything... when gun comes to work... it starts to nuts where you eat... i had to do it....
We caught him on computer... in his drop down cache "google" look up stuff..... we had 46 pages of just his browser drop down on firefox... 45 cal auto... 1/8 ounce cocaine... 1/2 heroine... brick... eight ball... teflon...
I wasn't looking for it at all... i just happened to notice
He was given severence... he's a smart young man (19yrs)
In Philly... he better start a new a life.

Shakes your faith in human nature. I had to fire someone once who had been drinking and stealing money from petty cash. You feel like crap. Even worse, I had to force a guy in his late 50s to take an early retirement package. I didn't agree with the decision but had to enforce it. Which is why I now freelance and work from home.

The flip side of that Tag, is that maybe he will make some changes because of being fired. Sometimes good comes from bad.

Hey Tag, No worries...We have our own business you should just see what we have had to fire. Unbelivable peeps out there. I know it sucks to fire people but, they get what is coming to them in the end. Not your problem. It just makes it harder to trust the next person. Heres to a better next week !!!
