Small cadre of family/buds I think... don't think i've ever heard the word 'cadre' before but i'm assuming it means gathering?

Cadre is a core group of people with strong ties (ie friends, family, colleagues). It probably wasn't the best choice of words because it's best used to describe professional relationships and doesn't signify a social gathering per se! Sorry. Newspapers Hamburgers Hots Dogs Corn dogs ?

I'll have to pass on this one - I hate hotdogs and i've never had a hamburger or a corn dog!
And thanks for the explanation and teaching me a new word - I might try and drop this word into conversation tommorow with my brothers, It might make me seem clever! ;D

I have the opposite problem! I love all three so it'd be hard for me to choose. I'd just eat them all and then see if I could decide!
