Its great that you've exposed Tim's talent for poetry,I agree with Holly - I bet you had a bit of a hidden agenda starting this thread - its great that you did though because Tim really is a very good poet, look foward to reading more of his stuff - and yours of course! Youv'e reminded me that I promised to post more paintings soon so I really must get round to it. I'd like to start a new one but I probably won't get chance before Xmas Anyway, hope to hear more from you both soon Sleepwalker, I remember being inspired to start this thread by the painting thread and the Our Pets thread - which also inspired how I named the thread! So you can take a bow as an 'early influence' on me as well! We look forward to more of your paintings! I see Tim has now been unleashed with his clever 'punnies'! I told you, Tim is a pfun loving guy!

Actually, I try to appeal to the masses more by being 'Parliament-ary' and adding a little 'PFUN-K' ! Actually, not really, but I thought that sounded !

Ok, I'll add a little more here. I used to love the Geico commercials with the punchline, 'no but I did save $200 on my car insurance by switching to Geico'. I wrote several lines playing off that commercial. Did you save money on your car insurance by switching to Geico? "No, but I did start a hair club chapter today for the bald eagle." "No, but I did save on cooking expense by deciding I'm done." "No, but I did make defense attorneys quiver by having a boy named ISUEU." (as a Man in Black devotee this is a personal favorite! "No, but I did once save $200 on my car insurance by eating my PINTO." "No, but I didn't have to answer the half empty or half full query today when I threw up all my lunch." "No, but I did have a psychic tell me there were positive things in my future; they just drew a negative as to when?" "No, but I did save time spent on recreation by loosing my marbles. " "No, but I did save 50% of time spent on home upkeep by switching to a half-way house." "No, but GEICO did save a bunch of money on salaries by switching to CAVEMEN"

Simon Lebon says I should say a prayer before the new moon on Monday; But yet here I am hungry like the wolf and downing my hot fudge sundae!

Heh, your sense of humor is even quirkier than mine (that's a compliment, btw).
