The Heartbreakers do a great job with I Gotta Move. A few years ago, I saw Tom Petty on a late night talk show (believe it was Jay Leno), and I was pleasantly surprised and elated when the song he performed was 'I Gotta Move'.

Glad you like it, Uncle and John! Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers' rendition of the early Kinks song "I Gotta Move" is just perfect, it does The Kinks proud!

There's plenty of excellent stuff to choose from!

Kinks Tribute Forming (Tri-State Area)
Kinks Tribute Forming
This will be a high end tribute band that will play clubs and theaters.
We will cover the classics and the concept albums as well (Soap Opera and Schoolboys In Disgrace).
The shows will feature elaborate lighting and video projections.
Looking for someone that can sing like Ray Davies and if you play guitar great, but okay if you don't.
Also need Bass, Lead Guitar, Drums.
Where we rehearse will be determined by who is in the band and the most central location.
Respond with what instrument you play and your location.
This will be a unique opportunity to be part of something special.

Martin, you turned me on to the Rhythm Kings. Bill is a great solo artist, and he certainly does a great job with this Ray Davies classic! Thanks
