Just wanted everyone to know that a long time friend of mine, and many of you too, but also to the kinks, Ray, and especially to Dave is ill, and I want us all to keep her in our thoughts and prayers and hope for a full and speedy recovery.

fyi...an update to news on Rafaela, I've been given the okay to specifically mention the nature of her illness which it's very close to all our hearts since both she and Dave have gone through very similar expericences. As with what happenned to Dave Rafaela also suffered a stroke. Like I said I spoke with her yesterday and I know those who have spoke with her after I did and she sounds like she is doing okay and being very posltivte. I'm sure that all our thoughts, prayers and support she will get through this.

I have been in contact with some of Rafaella's closest friends and we have started a game plan to try to help her as much as possible through this most difficult time. I know for a FACT that Vicki, one of Rafaella's closest friends in the NY area, will be keeping everyone up-to-date on her condition through the KPS digest. She will be looking for volunteers to help with moving her apt. I know that "TA" (from our Forum) is already on board. She is in dire straights. We will be setting up a fund to help defer some of her amounting health costs, which I'm sure will be ongoing for many months to come.  She was the original founder of the KinKs Kontroversy Fan Klub (1983) to which I was a regular contributor. She was also the original founder of the Dave Davies Fan Club and until her illness, continued to help Dave with his Spiritual Planet Website. Please keep this wonderful KinKs fan and my dear friend in your hearts and prayers. Love Sharon ;D Smiley |

I have not been given any more information about that topic as of yet. Some of us, close to her, have been rallying to help defer the cost of her storage place after the move. The clean-up and move was a huge undertaking. I know Holly and TA , from this Forum, volunteered many hours in helping make that happen. Rafaella's long time friend Vicki has been the Angel in coordinating everything. She will need lots of support and our prayers. Keep them ever mindful in your hearts for healing and I will let you know if I hear anything more. God Bless! Sharon |
