Inakink, Powerman and Complicated Life: Procol Harum played a very good set. It lasted two hours in which they played all their famous songs. They included a new one "One Eye To The Future" which will appear on their next album. Regretfully they did not perform the two songs requested by Complicated Life...:-) I enjoyed the show very much.

Which Procol Harum album should I buy ? I have to admit all I know from them is Whiter and Conquistador. I would recommend "Shine On Brigthly", it shows the band at their creative musical peak with the great Matthew Fisher (1968). Later, with Robin Trower and without Matthew Fisher, they got more guitar-orientated on "Home" (1970). Trower left and they succeeded in making another classic-rock masterpiece "Grand Hotel" with orchestra and choir (1973). Getting the 4-CD-Box-Set "All This And More" would be perfect as well, it gives you an overall insight about their musical wealth from 1967 - 2009. The set consists of 3 CD's and 1 DVD with their latest live performances.

I woke up - and trust me, the way I was drinking yesterday, that was far from certain.

I'm pleased too that our powerman is well. I didn't say I was well just that I'm alive
