But I shall be thinking of you all ten days later in Liverpool (where all the best Ray gigs happen ;D) The one I saw has to be one of the best ones really!

LOL, I cannot deliver a report that is entirely accurate for I may be slightly intoxicated by the time the gig starts... mind you, I've been yelling abuse at Ray for years ;D

Ray played one brand new song. Come Dancing and Celluloid Heroes were back in the set for the night. He also sang the opening lines of Phenomenal Cat in response to an audience request. ;D

Thanks Milton!
Did he include an acoustic set like on some past tours?

I have to confess, I don't have the faintest idea of what is happening on the 10th. However, I realise that not everybody will be able to make the George in the afternoon, so I think it might be better to do something later in the afternoon closer to the RAH. If everyone is happy with this, we can start to think about and agree on a suitable venue, perhaps starting from 4pm. I will leave that for others to decide. I don't know if this helps, but this link should show the nearest pubs to the RAH. The website all provides ratings for each pubs plus comments and pics, where they exist... www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/results.shtml?l=sw7+2aIf people still want to go to the George, I will be there from 12:30 to 2:30pm for definite, but nobody should feel obliged to turn up. Remember, the best chance of everyone being together is somewhere later nearer the RAH. My only advice is that I think people should be at or near the vicinity of the RAH from around 4:30pm at the latest if they want to avoid all the commuters going home from work. It can get quite busy around 5'ish. Cheers I will post this on the blue and gray/grey board too.

Just a quick post from me as I've just come home to get changed, pick up Mrs ILEE and head back into London. I've just come back from the George, where I've left Marjorie, Debbie, Julia, Mr & Mrs St Gallier, Mr Lennie, Iles, Noisy and Luis (I think that was everyone!). Had a lovely time with them. They are going to head off to the RAH now in the hope of seeing Ray during his soundcheck, and to meet up with some of the late arrivals, like Inaki. It was a great start to the day for me. I've tried to post a pic on here but I don't know how and I am running out of time - apologies, but here is a link to the grey board if people want to see raydavies.3.forumer.com/index.php?showtopic=2524&view=findpost&p=149118Cheers everyone ILEE
