I just happened to hear The Traveling Wilburies Handle me with Care and I thought that could work for Ray, but he'd have to have Dave to trade the vocals off back and forth with like the Wilburies do ;D hmmmm let's make that a KinKs cover album  |

Night and Day by Cole Porter I think Ray could pull it off, and it's a beautiful song.

Amy Winehouse's " You know I'm no good " reminds me a little of Ray's early 70's arrangements,so that might be interesting...sort of like the 45 version of Ray singing Mirror of Love  |

I'm pretty sure that I remember reading that some music biz big man had insisted on one of the tracks on the Did Ya EP being a cover and that Ray chose to cover a song written by Dave.
Can't remember when or where I read that, let alone remember a verbatim quote (I know, I'm slipping); Googling's not turned anything up so maybe I dreamed it.
